Our proprietor has long been deeply drawn to Meiji-period cloisonné, and the gallery presents only those works he can wholeheartedly recommend. Rather than dealing in any and all Meiji cloisonné, we curate a selection of only the finest, most accomplished examples.
Our holdings of works by Namikawa Yasuyuki — the supreme master of the medium — are among the most extensive in Japan.
Ginza Shinseido is also engaged in initiatives dedicated to the preservation of cultural heritage, including the loan of works from our collection to museums.

We also maintain our own curatorial standards: even within Meiji-period cloisonné, we restrict our offerings to the most accomplished, top-grade works — striving to present collectors with only those pieces of genuine and lasting value.
Some may approach our by-appointment policy with a degree of hesitation; rest assured, we never engage in high-pressure sales of any kind.
